Adding to Nikon's line of professional prime full-frame lenses, and announced along with the new D7000 camera, Nikon today announced the new AF-S NIKKOR 35mm f1.4G, and the AF-S NIKKOR 200m f2G ED VRII lenses. Both lenses are pro-grade, and optimized for both stills and HD video. They both share Nikon's Nano-Crystal Coat and Silent Wave Motor technology, and each has a nine blade aperture for a natural bokeh.
The new AF-S NIKKOR 35mm F1.4G adds to the line of f1.4G lenses Nikon has announced this year. A very useful lens, versatile 35mm field of view, with a fast f1.4 maximum aperture, perfect for hand-held low light photography. The lens has an equivalent 35mm focal length of 52.5mm when used on a DX body or in DX crop mode an FX body. Optically the lens contains ten elements in seven groups, with one aspherical element for sharper images at the widest aperture. Two auto-focus modes are available, M/A(manual- priority auto focus) and M(manual) mode. It features Nikon's Rear Focus(RF) system so the front of the lens barrel does not rotate when focusing. LINK
