Two very different and very
powerful cars have at it on the track to see which is the fastest in a
flat out drag race. The Tesla Model S P85D has 691 horsepower, while the
Ferrari F12 Berlinetta has a much higher 730 horsepower. The Tesla is
also a heavier car, which stacks the deck against it even further, but
the Tesla isn’t completely out of the race.
It’s hard to beat the instant acceleration you get with an electric vehicle. The rear-wheel drive Ferrari is at a big disadvantage as the race begins. We get to see things from both points of view with cameras strapped to each car. Unsurprisingly, the first view comes from the Ferrari as the Tesla rockets to an early lead with the Ferrari lagging far behind.

It
doesn’t take long for things to change as the Ferrari catches up and
the view switches to the Tesla where we see the Ferrari becoming nothing
but a speck in the distance. The question is, by how much does the
Ferrari end up beating the Tesla? Take your best guess and then watch
the video for the answer.
