Rim fire rages near Yosemite

While 2013 is not the most active year on record for wildfires in the U.S., i3.4 million acres still went up in smoke by by late August, and as usual, California was one of the most active regions. The latest big wildfire is in the central part of the state, near Yosemite National Park where more than 2,000 firefighters are now fighting the blaze.
