In “RoboCop,” the year is 2028 and multinational conglomerate OmniCorp is at the center of robot technology. Their drones are winning American wars around the globe and now they want to bring this technology to the home front. Alex Murphy (Kinnaman) is a loving husband, father and good cop doing his best to stem the tide of crime and corruption in Detroit. After he is critically injured in the line of duty, OmniCorp utilizes their remarkable science of robotics to save Alex’s life. He returns to the streets of his beloved city with amazing new abilities, but with issues a regular man has never had to face before.

What I liked!
#5. Gary Oldman: Scientist
I like it because Coleman does seem to be playing more mellowed roles and whilst I miss the more off the wall characters of Zorg from Fifth Element Gary Oldman is Always a good watch and I want to see him in this.
Does he dis people in wheelchairs as well? So apparently being in a wheelchair is worse than being some inhuman cyborg enslaved to a multinational conglomerate? Haha wow this film has drawn an interesting line in the sand.

#4. What Did You Do To Me?!
Haha sorry, the eyes get me every time! Kill Oldman, he has mangled your body into some kick ass robot horrible cyborg. I do hope that in the new film we get a little more human and I think we will because otherwise it would be a pointless remake.

#3. Intimate Story
From the look of the film I am guessing we will get a more intimate side story between Robo’s family and his corporate programming. Which when you think about it is really symbolic of separating work and home, especially in the age of smart phones communication where ever in the world you go. How would you feel if your daddy became a cyborg?

#2. Loving The Leg Gun!
YES! They kept the leg gun and I am happy about it. You better shoot everyone boy, rapid fire those criminals. Not that I will be able to see anything blood soaked with the damn PG-13! I want to see limbs blown apart dammit!

#1. “Dead Or Alive Your Coming With Me”
Epic action walk away with massive explosion in background. Ha ha! High levels of cheese, I like it. Love the line as well with the voice modulator at work, takes me back in a nice way. I may have mixed feelings but I still want to see this and the action looks pretty good, hope it’s not trailer lies.

What I Didn’t Like!
#4. His Death!
The first casualty in the PG-13 battle ground is the epic death scene of our RoboCop. In the first film we were subjected to one of the most brutal death scenes ever shown on screen (Thanks Paul Verhoeven) but here we are getting this watered down bullshit with no impact at all, and it’s a massive spoiler!

#3. “Let’s Go With Black”
Why? Is it more slimming? No it’s because black is a more in style colour and they thought screw it we’ll just rip off Batman because they make money and people are obviously going to see them because of the suit. Screw you Hollywood be more original dammit!

#2. The Robo Cycle
Are you kidding me!? Batpod! I miss the cool car from the original; you can’t ram things with a bike or shield innocents from bullets. So inconsiderate to the people, who will think of the children!?

#1. Dodgy CGI
This film has been in production for something like 5 years and they couldn’t have consistent CGI, some of it looks great but I noticed quite a few scene like this one that looks weak. I mean look at that scene it’s awful!
