A Florida student snapped himself grinning into his cellphone as his teacher went into labor during class.
Malik Whiter smiled into the lens with his pain-stricken prof grimacing directly behind.
“Selfie with my teacher while she having contractions,” the Coral Spring Charter School junior tweeted to his @SpideyNikka account.
The image quickly went viral.
Many slammed Whiter for photo-bombing his seven-month pregnant business lecturer Susana Halleck as she started suffering premature contractions.
But Whiter told Local 10 News he wanted to capture the memorable moment both “for himself and for her.”
“I told her to smile but and she said no,” Whiter tweeted in reply. “So I got her off guard.”
Halleck was rushed to hospital after Tuesday’s incident but it turned out to be a false alarm and she has since returned to school.
Whiter, however, has gone on to become an online sensation.
The picture has been retweeted thousands of times and even turned into a meme — where he’s appeared with President Barack Obama, at JFK’s funeral and a debate with Mitt Romney.
“I have honestly laughed until I cried looking at that pic on two different occasions tonight,” Whiter tweeted. “Think I’m making it my wallpaper.”
