Scary development: unmanned stealth bomber can actually THINK
No, this isn't a Cylon Raider. But it's not that far off, either.
It's the Taranis, defense contractor BAE Systems' new unmanned stealth aircraft that's designed to deliver bombs deep into enemy territory with nobody aboard. Oh, and it can also think for itself. But don't worry! There will always be a ground crew in control of Taranis, you know, just in case it decides it wants to turn around and wreak havoc on its cruel masters.
It's still undergoing initial tests, but a fully-functioning model — with weapons — could be in the skies in the next few years. LINK
