Amid criticism of losing its focus, growing too large, Microsoft downsizing its presence next year and any other negative reason that can be concocted for the imminent demise of future shows, CES has had its best year ever. Records were set all across the boards in attendance, exhibitors, new products and news coverage of the event. It looks like CES has little to worry about as far as its longevity is concerned. Maybe next year they should actually hire some professionals to bash the event, it seems to have helped the cause.
