After a rocky road to find its director, Thor 2 finally seems to be coming together over at Marvel, and the flick's stars are starting to talk about where they're hoping the sequel will head. For Jaimie Alexander, who played Sif in the first installment, it's all about the romance, namely a romance between her character and the God of Thunder.
In an interview over at MTV, Alexander said she's had "a few discussions" about the sequel so far and made it clear she's definitely ready to be a part of it. When asked what she'd like to see from Sif for the next adventure for Marvel's Nordic characters, she said she's hoping things head in the direction of a closer relationship with Thor.

"I'm a comic book nerd at heart, so I'd like to see the relationship between Thor and Sif progress," she said. "Whether or not they do that, we're not sure yet. We'll see. I think that element will be in there, but I don't know how much."
Thor and Sif have often been lovers as well as battle buddies in their comic book adventures, but on-screen Thor's got a thing going with scientist Jane Foster (Natalie Portman). They had to say goodbye at the end of Thor, but we can't expect Marvel to just let that go at sequel time. So if Sif does start cozying up to the God of Thunder, does that mean we're gearing up for a love triangle?
Alexander also dodged the question of whether she'll make a cameo in The Avengers. It started with a simple "I can't tell you," but it turns out she was willing to say a little more.
"Sometimes you never know," she said. "It'll be funny—they'll call you and they'll do a post-credits scene and you go, 'Oh, so everything I said in interviews is completely wrong.' So you never know!"
