You know that awesome Comic-Con footage we heard about for Amazing Spider-Man 2? Well, it’s leaked online (for now). Want to see?
The footage has popped up via someone who was in Hall H in San Diego when the footage was shown, and captured on what appears to be a cellphone camera. Despite the dodgy means, the quality isn’t half bad -- and you can very clearly make out the action scenes as Spidey swings and slings across Manhattan.
Secondhand video or not, the actual footage looks good. We get a peek at Spidey stopping a crime being perpetrated by Rhino, and some general zipping around that maintains the action style of the first film. The set pieces look great, and if you liked the first film, it seems Marc Webb might just hit that sweet spot again.
