Last month, Cranston got back into his Emmy-winning "Breaking Bad" character in order to help a teen land his dream date to the prom. Now, he's doubled down on the young lovers and flown them to New York City on his own dime.
High school student Stefan Montana from the Bay Area town of Los Gatos, California, originally approached Cranston outside the stage door for "All the Way," the current Broadway show for which he recently earned a Tony nomination. Montana asked the Emmy-winning actor if he'd help with his prom-posal to Maddie Abene via a video message while in character from the hit AMC show.
Being the affable star that he is, Cranston happily obliged on the spot, looking straight into the camera and saying, "Maddie, if you don't go to the prom with Stefan than maybe your best course of action is to tread lightly."

"Maddie, will you go to the prom with me?" Stefan said.
And the stunt worked! Stefan later tweeted, "@BryanCranston she said yes!!"
Not content to rest on his benevolent laurels, Cranston flew both Stefan and Maddie to NYC for a date to see his stage performance. He reportedly paid for the couple's flights, hotel room, and car from the airport to the city.
"I've never been in a room with so many talented people at one moment in time," Abene told the local NBC Bay Area affiliate of her backstage experience. "It was really just overwhelming, and everybody was so nice to us, you know, all the cast members and Bryan especially. They were all so casual about it."
It's certainly not the first time Cranston has showed how incredibly cool he is. Here are four more of his home run moments.
1) He knows that he has a terrifying face that scares little children:
And he knows how to adjust his facial hair to maximize how terrifying he can be. Just check out his explanation to Katie Couric in their recent interview for Yahoo.
2) He does interviews entirely in character:
When Cranston recently visited Jimmy Fallon, he showed exactly how into his characters he gets, when he did most of the interview as Lyndon B. Johnson from "All the Way." The video speaks for itself.
3) He knows what his fans want:
Long after last year's series finale of "Breaking Bad" had aired, Bryan agreed to let his first read-through with Aaron Paul of the show's final scene be taped, for the complete series DVD release. It doesn't get much more intimate and behind-the-scenes than this moment.
4) He's willing to do whatever it takes — including breaking out in song and dance — in order to make sure you'll remember his name:
Remember when Cranston did this once on "Saturday Night Live"? We sure do! It's quintessential Bryan, and we love it. LINK
