Wicked Cadillac concept is so sick we're pretty sure it's a Decepticon

Designed by Ondrej Jirec, this is the two-seater Cadillac Estill, and it's a decepicon. At least, we think it is. Jirec says he was inspired by Cadillac's racing heritage, merging classic style with futuristic lines. He sure has that right, but the only reason we can see that he had to move the passenger seat back and tilt it to the side like he did is that the car's beating robot heart is located beneath the glove box.

Jirec's real reason for moving the passenger back is that, basically, conversation might distract the driver from the awesomeness that is driving this monster. The rest of the Estill's design is based (ridiculously loosely) on the form of the Cadillac El Dorado. You can see the homage to the classic car best in the Estill's massive flat side panels and its suicide/scissor doors.
Ondrej Jirec worked up the concept for the Estill while studying at the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, CA. As such, there's little chance Cadillac will ever put this wicked machine into production. For that matter, they probably haven't even seen the design. That's a shame, to be honest, because despite our fear that it will transform and begin seeking world domination at any moment, we'd very much like to get behind the wheel of something designed around the driver that its creator actually physically moved the passenger seat out of sight.
