We can confirm that Apple retail employees were briefed on an upcoming service called "Joint Venture" at last night's store meeting. It will be officially announced at the upcoming March 2 event.
Joint Venture is most comparable to the One to One service, in which a customer can go to an Apple Store to receive individual training on an Apple product. Joint Venture is that same service for business users instead of consumers.
The service will cost $499 for five users. Additional users can be added for $99 each.
In a move that's previously unheard of by Apple, users can also receive support outside of a store, both over the phone or in person at their business.
We were told that Apple's business arm is growing much more rapidly than it has been before. Joint Venture is almost certainly a symptom of that.
