We got all excited yesterday when the unveiling of the Nikes from Back to the Futurewas teased. Now we've got the details, and I've got some bad news: they don't auto-lace.
Sure, they look cool. They've got that styling you remember, plus some fancy LED lights. But without the auto-laces, I just don't know. I mean, what's the point?
But hey, maybe I'm just being a crank. If you like these things and don't mind tightening them up manually, there will be 1,500 pairs hitting eBay later tonight. All proceeds will go to the Michael J. Fox Foundation, so at least it's for a good cause. Maybe by 2015, we'll get the real deal, but until then, these will have to do.
