Beat Skyrim? The Elder Scrolls Online lands next year

Bethesda's Elder Scrolls team, having just returned from the snowy Nordic north inSkyrim, is announcing its plan to transform the traditionally hermetic series into a massively multiplayer online game with The Elder Scrolls Online. You won't just explore the frozen north, either, but "the entire land of Tamriel, from Elsweyr to Skyrim and everywhere in between," according to Game Informer.

What's out there right now is essentially just a tease, but oh what a tease it is. Game Informer has the scoop:
Players will discover an entirely new chapter of Elder Scrolls history in this ambitious world, set a millennium before the events of Skyrim as the daedric prince Molag Bal tries to pull all of Tamriel into his demonic realm.
Well, getting pulled into a demonic realm doesn't sound too good. Then again, most of us have probably ventured into Oblivion and back.
As for the MMO side of things, Game Informer's peek promises "solo questing to public dungeons," as well as "player-driven PvP conflict that pits the three player factions against each other in open-world warfare over the province of Cyrodiil and the Emperor's throne itself."
It definitely sounds intriguing. Having poured hundreds of hours into various Elder Scrolls titles and having the mindset that Skyrim is technically the best of the bunch so far (it just feels so good to play), I'm intrigued.
What about you, dear reader? Are you ready to explore the entirety of Tamriel in one game, or will having real people behind the digital inhabitants of the world ruin it for you?
The game is due out next year on both the PC and Mac. Other platforms could follow (MMOs usually don't come out for the consoles), but that's what has been announced so far. LINK
