Members of AntiS3curityOPS, an offshoot of Anonymous has claimed responsibility for taking down the Chicago Police Department’s website. The attack was in retaliation for alleged police brutality against NATO summit protestors on Saturday night. The Chicago Police are investigating the group’s claim.
"We are actively engaged in actions against the Chicago Police Department, and encourage anyone to take up the cause and use the AntiS3curityOPS Anonymous banner. For those able, chicagopolice.org should be fired upon as much as possible."
