The design allow you to change the setup of the guitar at the push of a button, so you can go from six string to 12 string, or change tunings instantly. No more multi-necked guitars that make you look like a 1970s prog rock band reject.
The sketchy information provided still leaves a lot of questions, like whether it works as a MIDI controller, or if it can be used as a stand alone instrument. I guess they'll figure those details out if this thing ever gets closer to production. PHOTOS
