Hyper Touch Guitar takes the strings out of six string

Hyper Touch Guitar takes the strings out of six string

There are all kinds of cool looking guitars out there, but almost all of them still use stretched strings to make a sound. How old fashioned! The Hyper Touch Guitar brings guitar design into the 21st century by replacing the strings and fret board with a touch screen, giving it an unprecedented level of flexibility.

The design allow you to change the setup of the guitar at the push of a button, so you can go from six string to 12 string, or change tunings instantly. No more multi-necked guitars that make you look like a 1970s prog rock band reject.
The sketchy information provided still leaves a lot of questions, like whether it works as a MIDI controller, or if it can be used as a stand alone instrument. I guess they'll figure those details out if this thing ever gets closer to production. PHOTOS
