Well this is an interesting turn of events, isn't it? After terrorizing the Internet for 50 days, the hacker group known as LulzSec abruptly decided to call it quits, but not before dropping a huge booty of files that include hints AT&T is testing 4G LTE iPads and iPhones.
For all the damage that LulzSec unleashed on the Internet, its exit might provide something that's of interest to all those awaiting the iPhone 5. According to iFans, a couple of internal AT&T slides from the LulzSec leak definitely point to 4G LTE iPads and iPhones being tested on AT&T's network. Does that mean the iPhone 5 that's slated to drop in August/September will have all the 4G quickness?
Nah. The Apple observers over at 9to5Mac say that Apple will probably wait until next year to jump aboard the 4G wagon. That sort of makes sense because Apple's stance on 4G up until now is that the extra "G" kills battery (and we all know how much Apple loves to boast about long battery life).
There's no doubt that 4G iPads and iPhones are on their way, but don't expect them this year on AT&T. LINK
