There are not a lot of reasons for someone to pay $300 for an iPhone case. Perhaps it is made of $500 worth of gold and you are going to melt it down, or perhaps you are in some sort of Brewster's Millions situation where you need to spend a crazy amount of money in a short amount of time. Maybe it hides the map to a buried treasure. But I'm not finding many excuses for this one.
The Case-Mate Titanium iPhone 4 case is made out of, yes, Titanium. It "combines detailed precision work with premium materials by physically reframing the iPhone with a genuine titanium edge." OK. You also need to screw it onto your iPhone, so you know it's legit.
Did I mention the price? Yes? Let me mention it again: $300, or the price of an iPhone when bought on contract. I should probably hedge here or something, but you know what, I'm not going to. If you buy this, you are an idiot. Bing bang boom.
