Transformers 4 casting details confirm those new character rumors
Some new casting details for Michael Bay's Transformers 4 confirm some major details about the plot—and, not surprisingly, Bay is looking to cast some hot young people to star in the reboot. It's nice to know some things never change.
It seems the rumor that Mark Wahlberg's character will have a teenage daughter who dates a racecar driver is true, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

So now the studio is on the prowl for the next Shia LaBeouf and Megan Fox to pick up the story four years later.

Up-and-coming actresses in the running to play the lead female role include Isabelle Cornish (Home and Away), Nicola Peltz (The Last Airbender, Bates Motel), Gabriella Wilde (Carrie) and Margaret Quallay.

Actors up for the other lead role are Luke Grimes (Taken 2), Landon Liboiron (Terra Nova), Brenton Thwaites (Blue Lagoon: The Awakening), Jack Reynor and Hunter Parrish (Weeds).

If there was any question that the semi-rebooted universe would be here to stay, it seems Paramount is keen to lock in whichever actors they pick for at least three films. So whatever direction Bay takes the latest installment should have some type of long-term plan (well, you'd think so) to play out another trilogy.

What do you think of the casting options? Who are you pulling for?
