What are you willing to sacrifice to make your iPhone really stand out from the crowd? How about the use of its camera? OK. How about your dignity, too? Great, I have just the case for you. It's the Lobster Mobile Telephone Case from Noddy Boffin.
Way back in 1938, Salvador Dali created a piece known as the "lobster telephone." It involves a lobster attached to the handset of a rotary-dial phone. Flash-forward to 2012 and Australian designer Elliot Gorham channels the ghost of Dali into an accessory for modern smartphones.
Gorham writes in the product description, "Unlike the typical phone case, it doesn't offer functionality of protection and style." The case makes your camera unusable. You can't put it in your pocket. It's not comfortable to hold. Gorham expects the case to act as a deterrent to cell phone use. It's awkward on purpose.

What the case will get you is plenty of attention. People will want to know why you're speaking into the belly of a screaming-red lobster.
Unfortunately, it doesn't look like the Lobster Mobile Telephone Case is up for sale yet. Its unavailability is not deterring my desire for it, however. Should you be fortunate enough to get your hands on this case, I must remind you not to dunk it in boiling water. That will most likely void your iPhone warranty.
