From John Lennon's assassin, Mark David Chapman, as a leering Doc Ock to China's Chairman Mao transformed into Darkseid and Facebook billionaire Mark Zuckerberg reborn as a frat-boy Loki, this provocative gallery reminds us of the cathartic effect and reflective influence of comic books and graphic novels as our spinning planet continues to churn out the occasional rotten seed.
