We’ve been wondering how director Marc Webb would adapt Spider-Man’s other leading lady Mary Jane Watson for months, and now we finally have out first look at the fiery red head on the set of Amazing Spider-Man 2.
Actress Shailene Woodley (The Descendants, Secret Life of the American Teenager) takes over the role from Kirsten Dunst, who portrayed the character in Sam Raimi’s original trilogy.
Some new set pics show a red-headed Woodley strolling around the set of the superhero sequel, and it’s certainly a different look for the traditional brunette. The filming shots also reveal the tweaked Spidey suit out in the wild.
It’ll be interesting to see if and how the new Mary Jane comes between the blossoming romance of Peter Parker (Andrew Garfield) and Gwen Stacy (Emma Stone). Until then, enjoy the sneak peeks below. PHOTOS
