We already knew that Syfy’s high-concept series Defiance would debut on April 15, and now we finally know when the accompanying MMORPG videogame will launch. Plus, the developers have also unveiled a live-action trailer showing off some wild action.
The videogame will launch on April 2, giving us a good two weeks to get acquainted with the alien-invaded world of Defiance before we visit in the Syfy series. The game is set in the same universe as the television series, which follows human and alien characters in a politically charged action drama about survival in a world that’s no longer our own.
The new trailer is a live-action take on the game, which, when you think about it, is kind of meta. The action looks insane, and it's obvious developer Trion Worlds went all-out to put this one together. Make sure and stick around until the end. It’s definitely worth it.
