Asus has announced the availability of the Lamborghini VX6 laptop in Singapore for S$999 (US$770.89). While it may be the cheapest Asus Lamborghini laptop to date, it is also the least powerful as it is the first in the family to sport an Intel Atom processor.
Granted, the fact that it uses the desktop version of the Atom chipset and Nvidia Ion 2 graphics engine should give the VX6 some video and computing oomph. However, we've also noticed that the Asus Lamborghini line is changing its focus from high-end entertainment to one that caters to a wider audience, but still with a branding premium added to the price. Fortunately, the VX6 skimp on features, sporting a Bang & Olufsen ICEpower audio system (found on the high-end NX90Jq desktop replacement) as well as two USB 3.0 ports.
