Spaceport America opens for business, hyperspace here we come

Star Wars spoiled us badly by giving us hopes of spaceports filled with extra terrestrials and bounty hunters. Virgin Galactic's Spaceport America is now officially open in New Mexico. Unfortunately, encounters with Storm Troopers will be unlikely.
Virgin Galactic CEO, Sir Richard Branson officially opened the floodgates for all spacecraft to take off at the newly christened Spaceport America on October 25. The new space hub features a two-mile long runway that can support "any form of spacecraft currently in existence." So does my Millennium Falcon that I've been building in secret on weekends count?

In addition to the completed runway, the terminal hangar which is capable of stowing away five spacecraft and two guiding places is nearly complete.
Branson says that Virgin Galactic's recent tests continue to push its goals of a space tourism future. I don't care how we get to space, just get me there in a jiffy so I can stop the Empire.
