Next to Top Gear, National Geographic’s Ultimate Factories series is arguably one of our favorite shows on TV right now. Granted, it doesn’t show up on TV as often as we’d like, but when it does, we make sure that we have our bag of chips ready.
On Thursday, the next episode of Ultimate Factories hits National Geographic, this time featuring one of the most iconic American sports carsin history, the Dodge Viper.
As the only hand-built production car to ever come out of Detroit, the Dodge Viper holds esteem as a true American original. Behind the scenes at the Viper factory, the crew from National Geographic was able to take a close look at how the sports car is built with each model taking shape in a span of two-and-a-half days. The entire car is built with human hands, which makes it all the more special for customers who own a piece of it.
