Graphics card manufacturer NVidia recently launched the world’s fastest DirectX 11 GPU. With a new thermal design, the GeForce GTX 580 runs a lot smoother than any other version of their previous models.
The GTX 580 delivers massive DirectX 11 tessellation performance so; gamers can increase the gaming realism with incredibly detailed environments and characters.
With the built-in NVIDIA Surround technology, it will also make it easier for gamers to connect three screens to their system, providing for a panoramic experience.
A buzz word in gaming these days are 3D, and the new card includes that as well with the addition of NVidia 3D Vision, the standard software for view films and playing games in 3D. A combination of high-tech wireless glasses and advanced software, 3D Vision transforms hundreds of PC games into full stereoscopic 3D.
The DirectX 11 GPU with Shader Model 5.0 support has been designed for ultra-high performance in the new API’s key graphics feature and GPU-accelerated tessellation.
