Scientists trap antimatter for fifteen minutes

Image of the Day: scientists trap antimatter for fifteen minutes

Oh that pesky antimatter, always sneaking off much too fast. Well, it turns out that CERNscientists have found a way to trap those elusive particles for up to 1,000 seconds. Okay, it doesn't sound like a lot, but it does give scientists more time to study the little buggers. (And all you need is a "magnetic bottle" and a really really low temperature.)
