We've got some brand-new pics of Henry Cavill in his Man of Steel Superman costume this morning. While the revealing shots provide us with a solid overall look at the costume, they also allow us to pay close scrutinity at Supe's now (in)famous redesigned crotch section.
The pics were taken by "Kal-El.9859" and "wacots" while the movie is currently shooting in Plano, Ill., and were recently put up by the guys over at SuperHeroHype.
As you can see, we get a much closer look at the controversial ... um ... loin section of the Superman costume—which doesn't feature the iconic red underwear that you guys got vocal about a few days ago—as well as the rest of the costume, including wristbands (that's also new), boots, insignia, cape and all.
We don't know about you, but we're still not quite sure what to think of the whole look that's going on with Supe's costume yet, but we're going to sit back, relax and hope Zack Snyder and the film's costume designers know what they're doing and that it'll look fantastic once we see the finished film up there on the big screen.
One thing for sure: Henry Cavill (The Tudors, the upcoming Immortals) looks really buff in his proud Son of Krypton outfit.
