HBO has released a new video ahead of the release of the official companion book to its hit series Game of Thrones. What's cool about the video is that it provides us with a bird's eye view about what it takes to make GoT. And as we all know, in the game of thrones, you win or you die.
Serving as a nifty little window into the making-of of the hit HBO fantasy series based on author George R.R. Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire books, the video gives a look at costume designs and set art; the building of those massive, awe-inspiring sets; and props and armoury among many, many other fascinating things. It also covers season one and two of the series.

The companion book to the series is titled Inside HBO's Game of Thrones and will be published on September 25 in the U.S. and on September 27 in the UK.
The book will not only be full of fantastic art but it will also contain interviews and loads of behind-the-scenes tidbits.
