It might still be a few months until NBC's hit sci-fi series Revolution returns, but some new webisodes focusing on a fan-favorite guest star should make the wait a little easier. Want to see how Monroe's double agent from season one got his start?
The six-webisode series will focus on the character of Sgt. Joseph Wheatly, played by former Dollhouse co-star Reed Diamond. Wheatley was embedded with a group of rebels, but betrayed them all to General Monroe when Miles and his gang showed up. During the episode "Kashmir," Wheatley led Miles and the rebel team through the tunnels toward Philadelphia before they eventually killed him with a crossbow.
The animated web series is set before these events, when Wheatley first got picked up by the rebel group and started filing letters back with Monroe's camp to keep them updated on the latest developments.
The first episode is a good intro to the premise, and it seems like this little series could be a fun bit of world-building to expand the big ideas of Revolution. Check it out below and let us know what you think:
