Harrison Ford knew the Star Wars fans would be out in full force during his appearance on Jimmy Kimmel. So Ford, who was there to promote the baseball biopic 42, warned the audience that he could answer their questions ... just not questions about the upcoming trilogy. But one “fan” couldn’t help but push Ford’s buttons: Chewbacca.
You would think that after all of their adventures together -- after all, not many survived the Battle of Yavin -- the alter-ego of Han Solo and Chewie would be the best of pals. But it seems that Chewie and Ford have had a long-running feud. What about? You have to hear about it from Ford himself, below, because 1) Ford is more impassioned, and 2) Wookiee is notoriously difficult to translate.
Of course, this isn’t the first time we’ve seen Ford and Chewbacca throw down on Jimmy Kimmel. When promoting Cowboys & Aliens, he angrily told his former co-pilot, “Daniel Craig’s my Wookiee bitch now!”
