The first clip from Kick-Ass 2 has leaked out, and it’s a doozy. Want to see a massive, hero vs. villain fight scene — including Kick-Ass’ faceoff with his arch nemesis?
The studio went all out with our first real look at the gritty sequel, showing what looks to be a major climax scene between Kick-Ass’ (Aaron Taylor-Johnson) gang of heroes and the Mother-Fucker’s (Christopher Mintz-Plasse) crew of evil-doers.
The banter is pretty great, and we even get a nice Avengers joke from the lovely young Hit-Girl (Chloe Moretz). Topical! Despite Jeff Wadlow stepping in to direct, it definitely has the same irreverent feel Matthew Vaughn nailed in the cult fave original. Here's hoping that vibe holds true for the entire film.
Kick-Ass 2 looks to ramp up the action considerably, and it’ll be great to dig deeper into the weird universe Mark Millar cooked up in the comic series:
