If you were the President of the United States, and you could choose absolutelyany ride to get around in, what would it be? Now that the SR-71 and the space shuttle aren't available, and since the F-22 only seats one, the Marine version of the V-22 Osprey would be a fine choice.
It takes off like a helicopter and then swivels its rotors around to fly like an airplane, boasting double the speed, triple the capacity, and six times the range of the other helicopters that carry the president and his support staff.
The presidential Ospreys aren't "white tops" (with green and white paint jobs), meaning that they won't be carrying the president himself yet, but the ability to pack most of the Oval Office into a hybrid helicopter/airplane must be very appealing.
