Can Game of Thrones top the sheer horror of last season’s gut-wrenching Red Wedding?
*BOOK SPOILERS AHEAD*George R.R. Martin, author of the A Song of Ice and Fire saga on which the hit HBO series is based, spoke to TV Guide in an exclusive interview and teased Thrones’ upcoming fourth season's eagerly anticipated nuptials between the universally hated King Joffrey and the beautiful Margaery Tyrell.

This is what Marting had to say:
"It's going to be the wedding of the year, and as memorable in its own way as our wedding last season," promises the books' author, George R.R. Martin, of the marriage of King Joffrey Baratheon (Jack Gleeson) and Margaery Tyrell (Natalie Dormer). "It's what the fans call the Purple Wedding, based on the color of the wine, which plays a big part."Martin added that the wedding scenes, "look spectacular. The bride's dress incorporates roses, there are 77 courses at the dinner feast, and there's some wonderful halftime entertainment."
Seven hells! Can our poor little hearts take another bloody wedding? In the case of King Joffrey, yep. We can.
