Look what happens when you gather 20 robots for a chorus line act. Each 23-inch Nao robot by Aldebaran Robotics is packing about as much processing power as a smartphone, hooks up to Wi-Fi, and can even see with its beady little eyes. Not only was this group of $250,000 worth of robots graceful as they danced up a storm at the Shanghai World Expo, but check out their perfect synchronization in the video below.
Too bad these little bots look like their feet are nailed to the floor most of the time. Move your feet, guys! Make your backbones flip! They have 25 degrees of freedom, so next we want to see some frenetic moves, much more than this robotic Tai Chi-like routine that looks like it's being performed by a mob of motorized old people.
Our suggestion: Do "Beat It," add some floor spinning next time.
