The hardest part of being a sniper is all that darned sniping. Luckily, DARPA and Lockheed Martin have teamed up to develop a sniper rifled that does much of the work for you.
Here's what the self-aiming sniper rifle will supposedly do:
It will measure atmospheric conditions, account for the weapon's maximum effective range and include GPS coordinates. It's also supposed to communicate with the rifle scope, informing the gun itself of the aim point offset and expected crosswind. It all sounds well and good, but until this thing shows up in a Call of Duty game it won't have much effect on my life.
