Nvidia Promises Fastest DX 11 GPU

At a recent conference, Nvidia showed off an unreleased graphics processing technology to the attendees, reportedRumorPedia.net. The new Nvidia GPU is claimed to be quieter than the current high-end GTX 480 and better than GTX 285. The upcoming Nvidia GPU will have Vapor Chamber Cooling Design for better dissipation of heat. Nvidia trumpets that its next DirectX 11 supporting graphics card would be the fastest, quietest and coolest GPU on the earth.

Though this GPU technology was shown to the conference attendees, no names or model numbers were revealed. The company has worked hard to introduce new Vapor Chamber Cooling system on the GPU for keeping it cool when the utilization at the maximum. This Vapor Chamber Cooling system has water stored within the chamber and it gets boiled by the copper plate that forces the heated bits to move upwards. These heated upward bits are then cooled by the heatsink fans. So when the vapor gets cooled down, it gets 'recycled' into water again.

As per the leaked slides, the custom Vapor Chamber Cooling system will rest below the heatsink fan so it won't be visible from outside. However, the card will have external venting and will have SLI-Optimized cover design. Also, it's quite a possibility that the graphics card would be wee bit thicker than the current generation GTX 400 series graphic cards.
