Kristen Stewart turned down Lois Lane role in Superman reboot

We told you about 11 women who COULD be Lois Lane in Zack Snyder's upcoming Superman reboot—now comes word of one would who couldn't ... couldn't care less, that is.
According to the New York Daily News, Stewart met with Snyder to discuss the part, but "ultimately passed," supposedly because she did not want to jump into another Twilight-size blockbuster film franchise so soon, instead preferring to add a few "smaller, independent films" to her resume.

While Snyder had not come out and offered Stewart the role, the paper cites a source as stating that the director felt "slighted" by Stewart and that the actress had "wasted his time." Meanwhile, Variety is reporting that Stewart is in talks to star in Snow Whiteopposite Viggo Mortensen.
So what do you think? Would you have wanted to see Stewart as Lois? Or would one of the other candidates be a better fit?
