Filming for Zack Snyder's highly anticipated Superman movie Man of Steel has recently moved to Vancouver and some new pictures of Henry Cavill show the usually smooth-shaven star as a bearded Clark Kent.
These cool new set pics are following hot on the trail of our first—and awesome—look at Russell Crowe fully dressed in his Kryptonian garb as Supe's daddy Jor-El.
About Cavill's look in those set pics, let's just say we're all used to seeing Clark Kent/Superman in smooth, clean-shaven mode—so we're obviously wondering what the heck happens in the movie to have him look so unusually dishevelled and bearded. He's apparently at an Alaskan fishing village.
Is our man of steel on the run and in hiding? If so, does it have anything to do with the dastardly evil Kryptonian General Zod (Michael Shannon)? Could he be running away from a certain Miss Lois Lane (Amy Adams)? Or is he protecting her? Or has Kal-El embarked on some sort of guilt-trip odyssey thingy? Whatever is happening here, we just can't wait to find out. Do you?
Sadly, we've two more years to wait since Man of Steel is only set to hit theatres on June 14th, 2013.
