iPhone Floating Orchestra turns you into an antigravity conductor

Repurposing the iPhone for yet another use is becoming commonplace, but the ingenious variety of applications continue to astound as in the case of the Floating Orchestra.

Created by London's Poietic Studio, the iPhone application married to a platform of 19 spheres is designed to allow the user to control the movements of the orbs in concert with a musical composition. Despite spending a great deal of time investigating the studio's project site, and the device's first iteration (the Floating Forecaster), there's very little in the way of explanatory technology detail, but the idea is nevertheless a clever concept demo that shows us what may be possible with the iPhone in the near future.
