If there's one thing to say about Sean Bean, it's that he never gives up. Even though his character [spoiler alert!] died in the first season of Game of Thrones, the actor is ready for Eddard "Ned" Stark to make a return to the highly acclaimed HBO fantasy series.[More possible spoilers ahead!]
The question is: how can Ned Stark (and Bean) come back?
After all, the character did meet a very gruesome (and tragic) death in the series' penultimate episode ''Baelor,'' by getting his head chopped off and then mounted on a spike by that evil little monkey that is King Joffrey Baratheon (Jack Gleeson)—a move that sent many fans of the TV series who hadn't read George R.R. Martin's books into a shocked stupor.
So would Ned come back as a ghost? As a headless zombie? (Zombies are the hot thing right now.) Or through some other means?
One word for you guys: ''Flashback''
And Bean is apparently still very keen to return, telling MTV Movies blog :
"I think there is in the books," said Bean of the possibility of flashbacks. "There are apparently some flashbacks, and it would be great to see everybody again and be involved.""They sort of got rid of me. I had my head chopped off. But if you can come back from that, you can come back from everything, can't you," Bean joked.
