Atlanta TV broadcaster miraculously predicts fumble return for TD one play before it happens

Sometimes it's better to be lucky than good. Just ask PlayOn! Sports color commentator R.J. Lewis.
Lewis, who serves as the color commentator for Atlanta (Ga.) Douglass High, made a rather remarkable prediction with Douglass trailing Rockmart (Ga.) High, 54-0. Rather than call a touchdown via any traditional means, Lewis said he thought one would come via a defensive score.

In fact, Lewis promised even more than that. He specified that Douglass would score on a scoop-and-score fumble recovery TD. Moments later, the play you see above unfolded.
In case you missed it, here is the verbatim transcript of Lewis' prediction:
"You've gotta go out on that limb," Lewis said. "A bobbled snap, scoop it in for the score, it could happen."
Incredibly, it did happen. Well, everything except the bobbled snap. And afterward, Lewis was happy to revel in his accurate prediction.
"I do not have a crystal ball, I do not have a Magic 8 Ball, but that just happened," Lewis said.
Calling a fumble recovery for a touchdown is no less remarkable than Babe Ruth calling his home run shot. The odds of such a play unfolding on the very next play are pretty astronomical.
Still, Lewis couldn't help Douglass earn a win, with Rockmart holding steady the rest of the way en route to a 54-6 victory. Maybe next time Lewis should try and go out on a limb and predict a Douglass win?
