Did you ever dream of getting beamed up to the Enterprise? This video feeds into that hope.
Star Trek Into Darkness is now available to stream or buy on disc, and to promote that in the UK Blinkbox teamed up with illusionist Scott Penrose to put on a little show.
In a local shopping center, a teleportation device was set up and, one by one, people volunteered to go inside of it and be transported to some random place inside the mall.
It's not real, of course. The teleport is just a simple effect using an HD screen and some twins. You can tell that the crowd is wrestling with their awareness that transporters don't actually exist. The fiction is just too fun to resist!
