The Maryland university that recently hosted a workshop on campus to teach students how to pleasure themselves with various sex toys is back in the spotlight, this time after its student newspaper asked photographers to capture racy pictures featuring apparent students engaged in sexually suggestive behavior.
The album for the University of Maryland, College Park’s Diamondback newspaper, titled “Sex In College Park” and published online for all to see, depicts various students — some shirtless, others without pants — engaged in seemingly promiscuous behavior.
In some images, individuals, who appear to be male students, can be seen climbing on top of their female companions in what appear to be staged photographs. Others show woman straddling males and clenching their thighs and backs with their hands.
It was not clear if the students actually engaged in any sexual acts during the production of the images.
The Diamondback did not respond to requests for comment made by TheBlaze, but the publication did give an explanation of the album on its official website.
“We sent out four photographers to see who could come up with the best photo for our Sex in College Park edition,” it said. “Here’s what people came up with.”
The Diamondback also published articles highlighting “secret hookup spots on campus” and how “hookup apps change [the] college dating scene,” as part of what appears to be their “Sex in College Park” edition of the paper. Other articles appearing to be part of the same issue aim to define “sexual misconduct” and “talk about sex.”
You can see the photos over at the newspaper’s website.
