In case you're tired of waiting for the perfect keyboard accessory for your iPad, one enterprising Apple fan from Osaka, Japan has hacked together a brand-loyal solution called the iPad In iBook.
Most die-hard Apple fans remember the clamshell iBook as a colorful relic of Apple's less-than-mainstream past, but by simply hollowing out the old iBook's screen area, and replacing the keyboard with a new Apple keyboard connected via the iPad's camera connection kit, the set up works as a cool kind of faux laptop. The only (rather major) drawback, according to the modder, is that you can't close the laptop case without potentially damaging the iPad's screen. Nevertheless, we're sure to see at least a couple of these mods on eBay sometime soon.
