Here's a new use for flexible display: Bend it and its image starts zooming in. Bend it the other way, and it zooms out. Toshiba's 800 x 600 panel has a sensor inside that interacts with viewing software, triggering a zoom when the thin edge-lit display is bent one way or the other.
Tech giants are finally making some progress with flexible displays — look at Sony's roll-up screen that's the best one we've seen yet. We're looking forward to the day we can fold up a screen like a newspaper.
