Drafted by director David Lynch, Sean Young arrived on the set of Dune with her Super 8 camera in tow—and this glimpse into the merry life behind the scenes of a debacle, and Young's own scatterbrainedness, is mesmerizing.
Fresh off of Ridley Scott's Blade Runner, Young joined the cast of Lynch's big-budget adaptation of Frank Herbert's Dune, one of the most ambitious science fiction tales in all of pop culture. Produced by Dino Di Laurentiis, Dune cost about $45 million (which is about $100 million, adjusted for inflation) to make and only earned about half of it back.
But you'd never know Dune would become such a notorious film by watching the smiles on everyone involved. LINK
