AOC's Razor Display reminds us that thin is always in

How thin do displays need to go before they are too slim? If you have an unhealthy obsession with super thin electronics then AOC has a thin computer monitor for you. Its latest LED-lit displays are only 0.5-inches thick.
Appropriately named the Razor Display, AOC's super trim monitors are available in screen sizes that start at 18.5-inches and run up to 23-inches. Features include a 16:9 widescreen and a 50,000,000:1 contrast ratio. We're really curious as to whether anyone really needs a contrast ratio that high. Won't your eyeballs explode or something?
What's interesting about this display is that it doesn't have an HDMI port. The Razor Displays have D-Sub and DVI-D ports. Uh, good luck finding one of those. Its stand also does double duty — it can fold 90-degrees backwards and mounted to a wall with VESA mount.
The AOC Razor Displays will be available in Europe for the time being. Pricing is TBD.
