Interactive wand is how we will read and channel surf in the future

In the land of QR codes and cellphone wallets, the next logical step toward making Japanese objects fully interactive is to make them transparent: enter the ClearPlate prototype.

Developed by NTT Cyber Solutions Laboratories and unveiled at Tokyo's TRONSHOW 2011 the ClearPlate allows the user to scan everything from QR codes to specially coded interactive media, allowing the magic of invisible bits being resolved into real world actions via image recognition all the more magical.
